Effective August 2017, MLOs completing ONLINE SELF STUDY courses are required to set-up an authentication password through BioSig-ID.  Upon first logging into the course you will be redirected to the BioSig-ID website where you will be required to draw a 4-character password.  This signature will move with you through the years with any school you use as NMLS maintains this database NOT the individual school.
Four things to know before you begin:
  1. Ensure your PROFILE has your correct NMLS ID and current email address. You can change this at anytime simply by logging into your account and clicking on PROFILE and change or edit your NMLS # or email address or anything else and the save.
  2. Only AFTER logging into your course will be able to set-up your Bio-sig password.  On your first encounter with the BioSig-ID page, you will draw and repeat a simple 4-character password.  This same password will be required as you progress through the course and for any future online CE courses.  
  3. BioSig-ID has an automated reset password process.   After failing to enter your ID three times an authentication code will be sent to the email address your course provider has on file.
  4. If needed, limit your password to letters or numbers with straight lines.  Avoiding curved lines might benefit you, and please do not over-think or over-try drawing it.
